BCD Scuba Diving Certification Scholarship

THE BLACK CORAL DIVERS
SCUBA DIVING CERTIFICATION SCHOLARSHIP
Since 1994 The Black Coral Divers (BCD) has been an integral part of the Dallas Fort Worth scuba diving community. Over the years, BCD has pursued its goal of training and promoting scuba diving in the Dallas Fort Worth community by sponsoring introduction to diving clinics, demonstrations and presentations to various churches and schools, and at our local dive shop in Garland, Texas and the surrounding DFW area. BCD is committed and keenly aware of the importance of encouraging youth to carry on the recognition of safe scuba diving and awareness of the commitment to conserve the coastal and marine environment. BCD is an active participant in underwater archeological surveys sponsored by the National Association of Black Scuba Divers (NABS) “Diving With a Purpose Program (DWP)” at the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. Management of the underwater archeological studies is in accordance with the guidelines documented by The National Oceanic & Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
